Man attempts to play Pokemon while skydiving
A man in Belgrade, Serbia, tried to play Pokemon Go while skydiving, but was unsuccessful. The skydiver had made the jump at 5,000 feet, and said he had a full GPS and mobile network signal when he was 2,000 feet from the ground. He tried to play the game until he was 500 feet above the ground, but the game was unresponsive. He said he hoped the game's developers would fix the bug in the next update so that skydivers too could play the game in the sky. Niantic, the game’s creators, have warned people to not play Pokemon while driving, but as of yet they have not cautioned about playing while skydiving.

Women in China angered over female parking spots
Women throughout China have voiced their anger on social media about extra wide female-designated parking spots that are meant to help women who have difficulty parking in reverse. While many on social media said the idea of female parking spots was patronizing and sexist, others said women weren't being forced to use them but were only being offered for those who don't feel confident with reverse parking.

Ice cream that cures hangovers launched in South Korea
South Korea convenience store chain Withme FS has released the Gyeondyo-bar - a grapefruit-flavored ice cream dessert that is claimed to help those suffering from hangovers. The ice cream contains a small amount of oriental raisin tree fruit juice, which some Koreans believe is a natural remedy to combat the effects of ingesting too much alcohol. The Gyeondyo-bar is the newest of many mass-marketed hangover cures in South Korea, which has the highest level of per-capita alcohol consumption in Asia at 12.3 liters per year. Similar products include drinks, pills and cosmetics for women who want to rejuvenate their skin after a drunken night out.

Electrician in Brazil finds dead snake in PlayStation 4
An electrician in Brazil who was tasked with repairing a customer's malfunctioning video game console was shocked when he found the culprit was a dead snake. The customer had told the repairman that the PlayStation 4 had turned off abruptly, then started to smell badly. While he initially thought the problem was due to an electrical failure, the repairman became suspicious because of the odor, then was surprised when he opened the console and found the dead snake inside.

Last Sunday’s season premiere of “Game of Thrones” was watched by 16.1 million viewers across all platforms, including cable, online streaming and on-demand viewing. This is a 50 percent increase from last year’s Season 6 kickoff episode. The episode was the most-watched premiere ever for both “Game of Thrones” and HBO. The Season 7 premiere was arguably the most hotly anticipated episode in the show’s history, coming after a longer-than-usual hiatus between seasons. In years past, “Game of Thrones” seasons have debuted in April, but this season required a longer production period. The show now has 12 episodes remaining - six more this season, and a final six in Season 8.
